A curatorial proposition by Etienne Chosson, with the participation of Aurélie Jacquet and Johana Blanc.
Starting from Caroline Champion’s book Hors d’oeuvre: essai sur les relations entre arts et cuisine and particularly from its considerations on the fermented and the rotten (two notions, between which the only difference resides in the cultural value attributed to one or the other), Etienne gathers artists, whose practices resonate with these issues and understand art as a place of appearance, of recurrence, and of shape mutations over time and sociocultural contexts.
